The Danish Business Authority will acknowledge receipt of the application and the case will then be processed as quickly as possible. In straight forward cases you can expect to get an answer from the Danish Business Authority within 12 weeks.
If the decision cannot be reached within 12 weeks, the Danish Business Authority will contact you and inform you, when you can expect an answer on your application.
Authorisation will not be regarded as having been granted if the Danish Business Authority has not replied within the set time.
In case of rejection
Decisions taken by the Danish Business Authority may be appealed to the Environmental Board of Appeal. The deadline for submitting an appeal is four weeks from the day on which the decision is announced. If the decision is announced publicly, however, the deadline for submitting appeals is always calculated from the date of publication.
If the deadline for appealing falls on a Saturday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day. Appeals should be submitted in writing by letter, fax or e-mail to the Danish Business Authority, see contact details above.
The Danish Business Authority will then forward the appeal to the Environmental Board of Appeal accompanied by the decision appealed and the material, which was included in the assessment of the case. An appeal submitted on time has a delaying effect on the decision appealed unless the Environmental Board of Appeal decides otherwise. The address is:
